A JAZZ band, bell ringing, vintage cars and falconry will all feature at the annual Cropthorne Villages and Gardens Walkabout this May Bank Holiday weekend.
The event, off the B4084 between Evesham and Pershore, takes place every year to raise money for village church funds, but this year, organisers have pulled out all the stops.
Fourteen gardens will be open for viewing, there will be flowers in the church, organ recitals, an arts and crafts exhibition, wool-spinning and working oil engines on display.
Celebrations
The celebrations will start on Sunday with a brass band, and continue into Bank Holiday Monday when there will be traditional Maypole dancing, morris dancing, a puppet show, and a magic show. A jazz band will play on both days.
Entry is £3 for adults, £2.50 for OAPs and 50p for children. There will be free entry for under-fives. For more details call 01386 860 373.
