VOTERS in the All Saints ward hope they will finally get the community centre they have been asking for after the May elections.
Arshad Mahmood, a 30-year-old father-of-one, was one of those concerned about the lack of activities for young people in the area.
"We voted last time to get a community centre built in Stanley Road but nothing has happened," said the Worcester businessman, of Albert Road.
"Everything else is in pretty good order but there needs to be more for kids to do."
Shop owner Paolo Ceci, aged 39, experiences daily problems with Wyld's Lane - the road that runs past his delicatessen.
"It has been redesigned recently but they did not think it through," said Mr Ceci, who lives in the same street.
"In places there are no kerbs, which creates problems for blind people and allows water to run into the shop when it rains."
Ibrar Hussain, of Stanley Road, also feels road safety needs to be examined.
"There's a school nearby so there should be traffic lights somewhere on the road," said the 19-year-old, who runs a general store in Wyld's Lane.
