HEREFORD'S David Park earned himself almost £9,000 after finishing joint 32nd at the Canaries Spanish Open in Tenerife.
Park closed with rounds of 70 and 67 for a 15-under-par total of 273, which was seven shots adrift of England's Kenneth Ferrie who landed his first European Tour victory.
Droitwich's John Bickerton, meanwhile, slipped back to nine under for a share of 72nd place after closing with a 71 and 73.
Ferrie, a 24-year-old Geordie from Ashington in Northumberland claimed the £201,731 first prize with a birdie at the second hole of a sudden-death play-off against Dubliner Peter Lawrie and Sweden's Peter Hedblom.
