JOHN Brain dedicated Worcester's 76-24 victory to the supporters in the final match of the season.
The Sixways chief was satisfied with the professional display and 12 tries against National One's whipping boys and said the scores were for the fans.
"All in all, the guys have done a good job," said the director of rugby.
"I think that's a tribute from the players and management to the travelling support. They have been fantastic throughout the season. The guys that came to Rugby in their gold and blue shirts deserve to be supporting a Premiership club.
"They have followed us everywhere. They have seen some good wins such as down at Exeter. That was a very good day. They were also there on the black day at Orrell when it was bitterly cold.
"They have supported us no matter what and even when there was seemingly nothing to play for at Rugby they were here. That performance was for them."
Worcester ended the season as runners up to Rotherham in the race for promotion but Brain will now await the results of the Rugby Football Union's independent inquiry into alleged financial misconduct by the Millmoor club. If found guilty, Rotherham could yet be docked points and, after their shock defeat by Coventry, that scenario is likely to make Worcester champions.
Cynics might wonder as to whether the RFU would then deny promotion once again to the top National One club. Brain, though, is adamant that the top side must be allowed to progress.
"If these allegations are proven then I would not expect Rotherham to remain top of this league," added Brain.
"The rules state that the winner of this league will be promoted. If Rotherham are deducted points, just in the same way as they would have been if they'd have fielded an unregistered player, they won't finish top -- we will.
"We've scored 114 points fair and square and, if we finish top, there's no reason why we shouldn't be allowed to take our place in the Premiership.
"We've got within two points of Rotherham despite all of our injury problems this season. We've done some very good things and there's no doubt we wouldn't look out of place in the Premiership. We have the set up."
