BUDGIES have been crowned champions in Division One of the Worcester and District Skittle League.
In their game away to the Saints, and requiring two points to be champions, an opening leg of 110 against 74 set up a comfortable victory.
The other champions were Scaplehorns in Division Two, Robins in Division Three and Sausagemen in Division Four.
Next Tuesday (April 29) there will be a bowl-off between Tearaways and Saints to see who will be relegated with Hanley Sports to Division Two, while Fernhill Heath and Mayflower will also bowl off to see who goes down to Division Three along with CEDS.
