SHOOTERS and Alleycats changed second place in the Fourth Division of the Wor-cester and District Skittle League.

Alleycats, who were in second place before the game, found visiting Grasshoppers too consistent on the night.

Grasshoppers led by three pins after the first leg, in-creased the advantage to six after three legs and eventually won the game by 28 pins.

Top scoring for Alleycats was Don Williams with 40 while Alan Cartwright scored 37 for the Grasshoppers.

Shooters, visiting Blacknecks on the Alma, were in front from the first leg and increased their lead on every leg eventually running out winners by 44 pins.

Shooters now lead Alleycats by one point with a game in hand, and are also just three points behind Sausagemen again with a game in hand.
