John Phillips was in brilliant form for the Rockets in a high-scoring Division One game in the Worcester and District Skittle League against the Avengers on Barbourne Ex Servicemen's Club.
Starting with a 14 spare he followed with a nine then 14, 15 and eight to finish with 60, the highest individual score by any player this season.
He was not the only player scoring well in this match as fellow Rockets Clive Churchill scored 53 and Ken Harding 50, with Avengers' Paul Williams also having three spares in 55.
Rockets with legs that included 108 and 121 scored 501 to which Avengers replied with 449.
Another player who topped 50 was M Knight (Independents) with 54.
