There were several close games in the latest round of Worcester and District Skittle League matches.

In Division Two Old Reynards needed 82 to beat Woodmen on the Prince of Wales, anchor man R Stevenson scoring seven to win the game by one pin.

Cavalier Outsiders lost to Droitwich by one pin in Division Three despite a 14 spare from their anchorman G Bourne.

In the fourth division Shooters, with 23 scored by their last two players, beat Cygnets by two pins.
