A WHITTINGTON-based firm, which was refused permission to extend its offices has lodged an appeal against the decision.
Pemberstone Partnership Ltd was refused planning permission to build additional offices at Whittington Hall, Worcester, by Wychavon District Council.
The company wanted to build on 52,000 square feet of land next to existing offices occupied by several other firms
The council refused the plan because it was unsympathetic to the landscape and failed to comply with the sequential test, which takes into account criteria such as access.
The Planning Inspectorate has indicated the appeal will be dealt with by way of a local inquiry or hearing at a date to be fixed.
