WITH two games to play Alvechurch are in the driving seat in the race with rivals Coventry Marconi for the ICIS Combination title.
Church sit a point behind Marconi with a game in hand, a better goal difference and better goals scored.
Unless Marconi can beat Nuneaton Griffs by more than nine goals tonight (Wednesday), Church will need a win and a draw from home games against Rugby on Saturday (ko 3pm) and Cheslyn Hay on Bank Holiday Monday to win the title.
If Marconi should pull off a remarkable victory, Church will need two wins.
Leamington's goal difference means they would have to beat Bolehall by at least 15 on Saturday to win the title.
The kick-off time for Monday's game has yet to be confirmed. For details ring the club on 0121 445 2929.
