BREAK A Leg Theatre Company's Cabaret 2003 at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, was the most amazing performance.
The full company started the night with Beatles' renditions and even the young starters, who perform from the age of four, sang All You Need is Love with a passion and melody to bring a tear to the eye of even the most hardened of souls.
Then they wowed us with their song and dance to When I Get Old and The Wizard of Oz, which were nothing short of perfect.
The older groups then wowed us with song, dance and ballet - a most enjoyable evening of variety entertainment and there was even some great comedy thrown in.
The evening was rounded off with You'll Never Walk Alone, followed by well-deserved thunderous applause and a standing ovation.
Congratulations to all who made this a fantastic evening but I think we should all applaud the hard work and commitment made by more than 230 children.
We should be proud of this wonderful opportunity that Break A Leg provides for the children of Redditch and with a little more help, long may it continue.
