STUDLEY made it four trophies in three seasons by winning the Worcestershire Senior Urn against Lye Town last week.

The Bees bagged the Urn for the third year running joining Malvern Town (1973-76) and Stourport Swifts (1992-95) as the only teams to complete the feat.

The reward for their 3-0 win over Express and Star League outfit Lye Town at Aggborough is a one-off invitation to enter the Worcestershire Senior Cup next season.

A tough programme of three games in five days took its toll on the Bees who were held to a 0-0 draw at Oldbury at the weekend and means they cannot gatecrash the top six.

But Chambers' side are guaranteed an improvement on last season's ninth place finish and know a point at Boldmere on Saturday (ko 3pm) will guarantee them seventh.

Top scorer Craig Pountney needs at least a hat-trick to draw level with Oldbury's James Wood in the Polymac Services Golden Boot table.

And on top of that, Pountney will have to match Wood's efforts at home to Grosvenor Park on the same afternoon but will be champing at the bit.

Chambers is set for talks with veteran forward Mark Crisp after the end of the season and is hoping to persuade the former Bromsgrove star to extend his playing career.
