ONE of the greatest love stories, Camille, comes to Malvern's Festival Theatre on Tuesday.
The inspiration for both Verdi's La Traviata and the smash hit film Moulin Rouge, the Lyric Hammersmith production returns to the original novel to portray the powerful and sensual story of a woman who cannot allow herself to love.
It stars Daniela Nardini, known as feisty Anna in cult series This Life, in the role of Marguerite Gautier.
Set in the salons and boudoirs of 19th century Paris, Marguerite is the most expensive prostitute in town who meets a handsome young artist.
Camille comes to Malvern following a London season and is directed by David McVicar, acclaimed for his productions of Rigoletto at Covent Garden and Tosca at the Coliseum.
The production runs until May 10.
Tickets cost £10-£18 (students £8) on 01684 892277 or:
