A PRODUCTION incorporating drama, African ritual, comedy, music, dance and film is being staged at Birmingham Repertory Theatre next week.
Ragamuffin offers "a powerful insight into the black experience within Britain today", played out against the rhythms of dance hall, ragga, hip hop and Haitian drumming.
Ragamuffin, played by Ofio Uhiara, whose recent TV appearances include The Bill and Holby City, symbolises the ultimate bad boy with irresistible charm and gangster attitude who stands trial for crimes against the African community.
Ragamuffin, written and directed by Amani Naphtali, runs from Wednesday, May 7, to Saturday, May 10.
Tickets cost £4.99-£14 on 0121 236 4455.
