Three star
THIS film had the potential to be a classic with a great plot and satisfying end, but from the start it lacked something.
Five strangers are brought together to live in a remote house for six months under the constant glare of dozens of cameras as part of a reality web show.
Each member of the group has their own reason for taking part in the show, including using the experiment to 'find themselves' and fame.
But greed is the core reason, $1 million is up for grabs at the end, and the only way the money will be lost is if one person leaves.
The film takes a long time to get started and after about an hour boredom sets in and the viewer is left wondering when all the spine-tingling action will begin.
However, all the drama does start just a few days before the group are set to leave the house.
The realisation their 'antics' can only be accessed at a huge cost to the subscriber, chilling messages left inscribed on windows, strange noises and the sudden arrival of a stranger at the house all add to the suspense of this thriller.
There are enough twists and turns to keep viewers entertained and the sinister reality of what the group are actually taking part in is horrifying.
This film is just let down by its slow pace at the start resulting in a fast and almost rushed ending.
