ALVECHURCH Dramatic Society focuses on the loves, traumas and disputes of a Midlands family in its latest play being staged this week.
A Warwickshire Testimony centres on the lives of Edie Cox in the 1930s, desperate to escape from her family and from a culture where everybody knows everything about everyone else, and her niece Dorothy in the present day, who is just as desperate to hang on to what she can of the 'good old days.'
The play, by April de Angelis, runs at Alvechurch Village Hall from tomorrow until Saturday.
Tickets cost £4.50 (£3.50 concessions) from Alvechurch Post Office or on 0121 447 7071.
