A JUNIOR football team from Hanbury has excelled itself by finishing runners-up in their league.
Hanbury U10s secured second spot, and with it promotion, in Central Warwickshire Youth League Division E this season after only two years together as a unit.
In addition, the team, captained by Alex Wilkes, reached the last eight of the league cup and helped set up top goalscorer Nathan Day for 26 goals.
The team is managed by Peter Day and play their home matches at Harris Brush Works. They would also like to thank sponsors Jones and Jones Property Consultants.
