DEAR EDITOR -- On April 12 five friends and myself spent an enjoyable evening in pleasant surroundings and excellent entertainment.
I refer of course to the Walrus Productions' Look Back in Anger, the modern play in the medieval surroundings of the New Guesten Hall at Avoncroft, Bromsgrove.
Seated in the hall, we were surprised by the lack of numbers in the audience even though the day before Hereford and Worcester Radio had transmitted a lengthy interview with both Avoncroft Curator, Simon Penn, and actors from the Theatre Company, giving times and dates of the performances.
At the end of a riveting performance those few of us in the audience felt sorry for all those in and around Bromsgrove who missed a splendid evening.
