Penned by Ray Cooney, the farce tells of a junior Government minister, Richard Willey, who plans to spend an intimate evening at a hotel with one of the opposition party's typists.
However, after a series of disasters, beginning with the discovery of a body trapped in one of the hotel's sash windows, things go from bad to worse for the minister, played by Hugh Richards.
Fellow villager Lynne Brinksman plays the object of his affections in this hilarious farce which runs until this Saturday at the Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall, in Brokencote. It starts at 7.30pm each night.
Tickets are priced £5, including an interval drink, and are available on 01562 777493.
