STUDLEY captain Brandon Miller admitted he knows very little about Bedworth, the club's opponents on the opening day of the Birmingham League season.
Last year's runners-up, denied the title and promotion by defeat on the last day of the season, start at a Bedworth side relegated from Division One last season (1.30pm start).
Miller has been joined by compatriot Mark Edward this year, and his addition marks a reversal of roles with Edward skippering the Cape Town-based Fish Hoek side Miller has played for.
Studley have lost Mumtaz Ali who has moved out of the area and will be without the unavailable Richard Gregory for the first match of the season.
Miller said the planned first team friendly against town rivals Redditch at the weekend was postponed because of the Washford Fields pitch.
