PETS are being asked to bear their gnashers and get their canines polished for 'Pet Smile Month.'
The scheme is designed to encourage animal lovers to look after their pets' teeth and Bromsgrove vets are offering free dental check ups to help prevent oral disease.
Staff at the Townsend Veterinary Practice, on Birmingham Road, are preparing for an influx of dogs and cats and has stocked up on pet goody bags containing dental treats to give away to well behaved animals.
The month of dental awareness has been going since 1998 and last year almost 1,100 vets took part and half a million pets benefited from free check ups.
To arrange a free check up for your pet call Townsend Vets on 01527 831616.
