A TEACHER who was unfairly sacked from Droitwich Spa High School has been offered a £50,000 settlement.
Ruta Rusenieks won an unfair dismissal tribunal earlier this year and says Worcestershire County Council has now offered her compensation.
Both the council and former headteacher Mr Cledwyn Davies had questioned her classroom conduct and the head of languages was accused of bullying staff.
A previous High Court ruling had sided with the education authority but Ms Rusienicks, aged 52, of Bristol, said Cledwyn-Davies spoke to her in a 'humiliating and inappropriate'manner.
It was yesterday reported she was offered a £50,000 out-of-court settlement.
