A 15-YEAR-old boy was attacked and had his mobile phone stolen.

The teenager was walking in Watt Close, Bromsgrove, with two friends at about 1pm last Thursday, when the incident happened. They were going towards the town when they noticed two men walking towards them.

The first man asked for the time and the teenager said he didn't have a phone to give him the time. The offender then threatened the boy that he would be stabbed if he didn't hand over his phone.

The teenager did not see a knife but feared for his safety. The second man punched the lad in the face causing injury to his lip and teeth and he handed over his phone.

The first offender is described as white with a tanned complexion, about 18-years-old, of medium build and about 5ft 11 tall. He had brown shaven short hair with a front flick and was wearing a chequered baseball cap.

He had a skinny face with small side burns. At the time he was wearing a knee-length jacket similar to a Parka, with white and brown fluff along the hem, hood and cuffs.

The second offender was a white man about 18-years-old and about 6ft 1 tall.

He had ginger blond shaven hair and wore a thin light hooded jumper with dark blue lettering and a light blue-coloured baseball cap. He had protruding teeth.

Shortly afterwards at around 1.15pm, another 15-year-old boy was approached by two men in Church Street.

They asked him for the time and then threatened that they would stab him if he didn't hand over his phone, although no weapon was seen. Their descriptions match that of the Watt Close offenders.

The two men then walked off towards Crown Close. Although shaken, the lad was unhurt. He did not hand over his phone.

Police are investigating the incidents. Anyone with any information is asked to call DC Kate Terris on 08457 444888.
