An afternoon of high drama, which saw some strong tackles flying in, eventually went the way of Town with two late goals.
With five minutes remaining, Lee Groves bundled the ball over the line to equalise before James Ward got the winner.

A lack of concentration saw Athletic go a goal down in their final game of the season on two minutes.
But Athletic fought back and went into the lead through Donato Casamassa and Karl Miles goals.
An injury reduced the hosts to ten men due to injury, and they conceded a late goal.

A Birchill hat-trick was enough to give Town the points. Unfortunately, a bumpy pitch coupled with a greasy surface, made quality football difficult.
The match was closer than the score suggests and Town goalkeeper Miles made a series of fine stops. Town stay second in the Premier Division.
