A SPECIAL information evening aimed at people with arthritis takes place at St Stephen's Church next month.
Guest speaker Mike Salmon, a professor of experimental rheumatology from the University of Birmingham, will be talking about rheumatoid arthritis and current research.
The event is organised by the local branch of the Arthritis Research Campaign (arc), a charity dependent on voluntary contributions to fund vital research in hospitals, medical schools and universities.
There will also be information about arc's work and free patient literature at the event, at the town centre church on Tuesday, May 20, from 7.30pm.
Admission is free.
