A MOTORIST was assaulted by two pedestrians as he drove through Worcester.
The victim was driving along St Peter's Drive, at 5.35pm last Thursday when two men began to shout at him.
He got out to talk to them, but as he spoke, an argument broke out and he was attacked.
The victim was taken to hospital with a broken cheekbone.
The two men who are described as white, around the age of 20 years old, walked away in the direction of Lloyd's chemist after the assault.
The first man is said to be 6ft tall, with a muscular build but lean with short blond hair cropped on top and at the sides. He was wearing dark jeans and a grey sweat top.
The second man is described as wearing a blue sweatshirt which had a Nike tick on it and blue jeans.
"It is believed that a number of people would have seen the assault and we are urging these people to come forward as they may have vital information which will assist in identifying the offenders," said PC James Bunn.
"A number of motorists also stopped to help and I would appeal to any of these people to contact me on 08457 888, quoting 165C250403."
