YOUNG people marched through the streets of Kidderminster in a huge turnout for the annual St George's Day parade.
The flags and banners flew on Sunday as scores of Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Beavers and Cubs from all over the district joined in.
"It went really well," said Joan Nutland of the Kidderminster Scouts Fellowship. "Most of them managed to miss the rain and a lot of people came out to watch them go past."
The parade left the Scouts and Guides HQ in New Road and the Scouts, including Beavers and Cubs, headed for special services at St George's and St Mary's churches while the Guides, Brownies and Rainbows went to Baxter Church.
Marching bands kept them all in time and guests of honour included Mayor Ken Stokes, Mayoress Pauline Stokes and county commissioner Jo Dowling.
In Bewdley, Scouts and a marching band led residents, visitors and members of the town council in a parade through the streets.
