INTEREST AND LEISURE CLUB: It was a perfect spring day for the club outing to Exbury Gardens in Hampshire - the coach arrived there in good time.

The gardens cover about 200 acres in size and there are so many interesting plants and shrubs to see. To name but a few Azalea Drive, Rock Gardens, Water Gardens, Iris Gardens, Rose Gardens, Heathers, Ponds and a Camellia Walk and many more. For £3 you can hire a buggie to take you round the entire spread or you can take a train around, this includes seeing Exbury House gardens once owned by Lord Rothschild.

Also there was excellent tea rooms a plant centre and a gift shop.

All members agreed that they had had a splendid day out. Mr Bryan Baldwin gave a warm vote of thanks to Mr and Mrs Noyce for arranging such an enjoyable day.
