PARISH COUNCIL: In addition to councillors, one parishioner attended the annual parish meeting where the annual reports were given.
The parish council meeting, last before council elections are held, followed. The work being carried out by Severn Trent on flood alleviation is nearing completion.
The condition of the surface of Cleeve Road was discussed as some pot holes have been repaired but the general state of this stretch of road is poor. Fish and Anchor Bank is still being monitored and therefore closed to traffic.
The grass verge in Pebworth Road has been reinstated.
More details are required regarding the footings for the proposed new bus shelter at the crossroads.
It was agreed to include the mowing of the area surrounding the village hall in the parish council grass cutting contract.
A meeting is to be arranged with South Littleton parish council regarding the possibility of the running of the village hall being undertaken by the parish councils.
A village clean-up is to be undertaken.
