CLOTHES worth an estimated £40,000 were stolen from Next in Kidderminster town centre over the weekend.
The High Street store heist happened between 6pm on Saturday and 8am on Monday.
Kidderminster Police said the clothes - mainly ladieswear and childrenswear - had been stored in a "sealed and secure container" at the back of the shop on a service road.
The police added the thieves tried but failed to break into a second container and said a medium-sized van would have been needed to take the garments.
