ON the Masters Lake, 25 anglers caught 60 trout between them with an average weight of 6lb.
The best flies were viva and buzzers but one man caught four trout to 8lb 4oz, using an orange fritz.
The Stella suited viva and damsel nymph flies but a Bromsgrove angler used a white lure to catch 13 trout to 2lb.
Vivas and buzzers were most effective on the Wyre Dell where one fisherman caught 11 trout to 2lb 8oz with a cat's whisker.
Another used a gold head daddy and landed 10 trout to 2lb.
On the Andy Capp, a black nymph was used to lure eight trout with a total weight of 9lb 4oz, though the best flies were mainly viva and montana.
On the coarse scene, eight catfish and 15 carp were reported from the Erics.
Boilies landed a 30lb catfish, while luncheonmeat was used by a Redditch fisherman for a 65lb brace of catfish.
Six catfish and 12 carp were reported from the Gainsborough, including a 23lb 7oz catfish with luncheonmeat.
A lady angler, on her first fish, used pellets to reel in a 19lb 11oz mirror carp.
Mixed bags of roach, bream and carp to 65lb were reported from the Stuarts.
