FERNDALE Girls U-16s must wait to find out whether they have taken the Central Warwickshire League title after winning their final game 1-0 against Royal Eagles.
The championship will not be decided until rivals Dudley and Leafield play their remaining games over the next two weeks.
Ferndale hope to make the Premier Division where they would come up against the likes of Aston Villa and Birmingham City.
Stacy Whittall scored the goal at the weekend, while Tina Ridings was player-of-the-match for a strong defensive display.
They had a depleted squad due to injuries and players away on holiday.
