Jackie Gregory, from the Associated Country Women of the World, was the April speaker. She said how welcome the knitted jumpers, vests, and baby clothes, were in the Gambia.
Eileen Fuller reported on the annual council meeting in Malvern, and Irene Bonner on the spring fair. Joyce Allan spoke about entries for the Food, Flower and Craft Show in Bewdley on May 19.
Members are needed to help with a table on Saturday at Cookley and on June 21 at Kidderminster Carnival.
Stewards will be needed on Wednesday at WI House.
Names were taken for trips to the Lowry Art Gallery, on May 18; music at Hartlebury Castle on June 20, and Shugborough Hall on June 25.
President Jeanne Round will host a plant swap, coffee morning and ploughman's on June 14, and Joan Kidd will host a summer supper on August 11.
On May 12 at 7.15pm a Resolutions Evening will be held in The Bull, Cookley.
