UP and coming DJ Marc Potter will spin his way into the spotlight after being added to the roster of an exciting talent showcase next week.
Marc, from Stourport, will be "carving up the sounds of hip-hop house, soul funk, electro tec and drum and bass" at the Sonic Boom Event at Redwood's in Kidderminster on Tuesday.
The freestyle DJ and producer, who goes under the name Melo DJ, is the latest name added to the line-up as part of the event designed to showcase musical talent supported by Kidderminster College record label MAS. Marc Potter gets in some practice ahead of next Tuesday's showcase.
He has been in the game for more than a decade and recently entertained an audience of more than 4,000 in a live internet broadcast.
Other recent projects include taking part in a fly-on-the-wall documentary to promote youth music and a four track EP which he says has attracted interest from record labels.
Marc said: "My motto is: 'Dance like nobody's watching - this is the soundtrack to your life!"
