THIS month is a busy time in the Wyre Forest for anyone interested in wildlife and walking.
The Forestry Commission's programme of events starts today with the first of a regular activity for pre-school children and their parents or carers.
The hour-long event will be held every Thursday throughout the month and on Sundays and Tuesdays it is the turn of anyone wanting to walk for fitness and health with a trained leader.
On Saturday early birds of all ages can catch the dawn chorus between 7am and 9am and on May 10 there's a chance to get to know native and migrant birds.
Also on the programme this month are a variety of walks and crafts.
