STEPHEN Lee, the Bromsgrove-born snooker star, made it third time lucky at the Crucible last night as his reach the semi-finals of the World Championships.
Lee, beaten twice at the quarter-final stage in the past, defeated Hong Kong's Marco Fu 13-7 to set up a best-of-33 frames clash with new world number one Mark Williams, starting today.
The 28-year-old, who has been a professional for 11 years, said: "I'm through to the one-table set-up now and I've dreamed of that. I've watched others playing on the single table and it looks a different class. It's great to be involved at this stage of the tournament."
