AN UNPRECEDENTED 11 Evesham juniors represent the Midlands in the Inter-Regional Championships at Nottingham on Monday.

Anna Chilvers, Chloe Farrar, Emma Purfield and Beckie Wood compete in the J14 quads. Cherry Gayton and Emma Woodedd hope to build on their success last year in J15 double sculls, while Lucy Berry and Sara Howe complete the girls' crews in J16 doubles.

Tom Most and Alistair Gregory compete in the boys' J15 double sculls and Tim Messent joins three athletes from RGS Worcester in the J16 fours.

The following weekend, Andrew Walker travels to Germany to represent Great Britain in the Munich Junior International Regatta.

He will double up with Tom Wilkinson of Henley College before teaming up with Zac Purchase of Kings Worcester and Dan Tipney of Marlow for the coxless quad sculls.

Walker is ranked No 2 in the country following last weekend's Great Britain trials and this is a great chance to compete against Europe's best.
