A LECTURE on the archaeology of Roman Malvern is being held to celebrate the opening of a permanent collection of Roman artefacts at Malvern College.
Jane Evans from Birmingham University's Institute of Archaeology and Antiquity will be giving the lecture on Thursday,
May 8.
She was involved in the excavation of the Roman pottery kiln beneath Roman Way in Malvern Link.
After the lecture visitors will be invited to cross to Malvern College library to see a small selection from the collection at its official opening.
The lecture is open to everyone and is free. It takes place in St Edmunds Hall, Malvern College, Grange Road, at 7.15pm.
