A FUN-FILLED day of chemistry awaits pupils from a Droitwich girl's school.
Whitford Hall and Dodderhill School is battling against other schools in the Salters' Festival of Chemistry, at the challenge, which takes place at Coventry University on Wednesday, May 7.
Sixty students aged between 11 and 13 are representing 15 schools in the challenge.
All will receive certificates and fun prizes but the winning schools will win cash prizes.
Hands-on
There are two hands-on experimental chemistry challenges. The first is called The Mystery at Inkworth Manor and the second is Colour Creation.
The aim is to make chemistry more interesting and attractive to youngsters.
"The students have a fun science day," said Dr Daniel Lynch, who will be running the day.
"The aim of the day is to enthuse students in chemistry by giving them two interesting chemistry tasks to do and offering them prizes to do it well."
