FOOTBALL and art combine in a new Worcester exhibition.
Mackenzie Thorpe is bringing The Game of Life to the Regent Gallery, Reindeer Court. His paintings and sculptures contrast a grim backdrop of urban living with the joy and expectation associated with the beautiful game.
Thorpe, one of seven children from Middlesborough, has even produced three Christmas card paintings for former Conservative leader William Hague.
The exhibition kicks off tomorrow (Saturday) and runs until Saturday, May 17. The gallery is open from 9.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
