Three decades after her debut album, Joan Armatrading will make a special appearance at Gloucester Leisure Centre tonight as part of the UK national tour to promote her new album, Lover's Speaks.
The Birmingham-based musician, who was Britain's first mainstream black singer-songwriter, has been recording since 1973 and has sold over 10 million albums worldwide.
