There has been considerable correspondence recently and in the past on the suitability, cost, and location of the present Malvern Town Council offices at Belle Vue Terrace.
When the town council came into being it took over a considerable number of tasks previously carried out by Malvern Hills District Council but had to find, at its own cost, a place to work from.
Since then, the district council has found itself in the situation where it may sell off property that belongs to the electorate.
Why don't the town council ask for the Council House, if now excess to requirements for the district, to be transferred to its control, thus keeping 'The Council House' as 'council' property and giving the town council assets to realise i.e. the property on Belle Vue Terrace.
