As a retired local government officer, I have lived in Kidderminster virtually all my life.
I am deeply concerned about crime generally and more specifically in Wyre Forest.
I wish to see more resources given to the police and stronger policing of our streets. I fully support the Conservative district council group's manifesto commitment to explore the possibility of providing district council wardens to work with other safety partners.
I also support the group's promise to provide a complete review of all the council's service departments and restructure them to achieve a more cost-effective service.
Another commitment worthy of your support is to stop wasting thousands of pounds every year by having eight council administrative buildings throughout the district.
It was also thanks to the Conservative district group that the paddling pool in St George's Park was retained despite opposition from the Liberals.
