I AM writing in response to the report on the front page of the Ledbury Reporter (April 18) concerning the plans to build 12 homes in Albert Road, Ledbury.
May I assure Barry Connally, director of Rural Homes, that no special effort was made to create a negative impression about the street's parking problems.
Residents who live surrounding the site took the morning off work to protest against this development, parking their cars where they usually do at evenings and weekends. Obviously their cars were not there the following day as they had used them to go to work.
Mr Connally may think he is enhancing the street, he could not be more wrong. Ledbury is a beautiful town and if this development is passed, where will it all end?
MR D R ISAACS, Albert Road, Ledbury.
