EXPRESS 1, EXCEL STAR & GARTER 2
EXPRESS went down to their first defeat in six months in a Worcester Division Two game last Thursday.
Jason Lloyd scored the Express goal.
The loss does look like condemning Express to second or third in the league unless Blackpole slip up in their remaining games.
EXPRESS 5, KAYS ATHLETICO 4
EXPRESS got back to winning ways last Sunday but made hard work of a game they lead 3-0 after ten minutes, despite having several players, missing as their cup success begins to make it a long season.
Early goals from Neil Bond, Mark Taylor and Jamie Roberts appeared to have Express well on the way to a comfortable three points before the visitors pulled one back. Further strikes from Bond and Jason Lloyd put Express 5-1 up before the wheels fell off and Kays began a remarkable come back but couldn't quite get enough to ruin Express' day.
Special thanks to veteran Richard Clack who turned out to ensure a starting 11 and match ball sponsor PH Auto's of Belmont Road, who have just presented the club with new match balls.
