HANLEY Swan footballers were left short-changed after thieves broke into their dressing room during a game.
The team was playing away at West Malvern FC's Old Hollow ground when the theft took place.
Wallets, cashcards and mobile phones were stolen in the raid, discovered when players returned to the dressing room at 8.20pm on Tuesday (April 29).
The haul included a Quicksilver cloth wallet containing £30, a number of bank cards and a £10 note; a black leather wallet containing £45; a grey wallet with a provisional driving licence, bank cards and £20 in cash. Several mobile phones were also taken, including a blue Nokia 7210, a blue Nokia 5210 and a blue Nokia 3310.
