As a resident of Stourport and a businessman running a garage in Mill Lane, I have been a town councillor for many years and have thoroughly enjoyed my responsibilities and the opportunity to improve the daily lives of the local people and also the environment in which we live.

I now believe the time is right for me to expand on my public involvement and seek your assistance to represent you and Stourport on the district council.

I fully support the Conservative group's manifesto commitment to provide additional funding for concessionary travel.

We propose to increase the funds annually to enable elderly people without easy access to public transport to apply for funding for suitable transport.

I also support the Conservatives' opposition to the mismanaged outsourcing of leisure services in the district, including Stourport.
