KIDDERMINSTER Harriers welcome back John Melligan for their final Nationwide League Division Three match of the season when they entertain Bristol Rovers in an all-ticket clash at Aggborough tomorrow (3pm).

The 11-goal midfielder, on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers, has missed the last three matches because of an appendicitis scare.

Melligan will be aiming to sign off his Harriers career by getting on the scoresheet for the second time this season against Rovers.

In the match at The Memorial Stadium in September he hit the target in a 2-1 triumph over manager Ray Graydon's men.

Kidderminster, managed by Bristolian Ian Britton who was a Rovers fan in his youth, will be hoping to complete their campaign on a winning note after just one victory in their last ten outings, which has ended their hopes of reaching the play-offs.

Their disappointing decline in form has left them in mid-table while Rovers will arrive at Aggborough free of the relegation worries that have haunted them throughout the season.

They are fifth from bottom in the table and grateful to be five points away from the drop zone -- a position they have achieved thanks to three victories on the trot against Darlington, Oxford United and Cambridge United.

Two players eager to make the most of tomorrow's clash are Harriers goalkeeper Stuart Brock and his opposite number Scott Howie.

Brock said: "We have had a disappointing spell, but people should remember we were favourites to go down.

"Overall, it's been a good season but, at the same time, it's disappointing because it could have been better. Individual errors have cost us a lot of goals and without them, who know what could have happened."

Howie and his team-mates are hoping to relax tomorrow now their relegation fears are over.

He said: "It's a horrible situation to go out of the Football League and we're just delighted we're not involved.

"It takes the pressure off and maybe we can go out against Kidderminster and enjoy ourselves, play some relaxed football and give the fans something to shout about. It should be a bit of a party."

Rovers have sold their allocation of 1,500 tickets, although the Aggborough crowd capacity has been reduced to 4,421 because of work on the new east stand which is taking shape on the old Bill Greaves terrace on the railway side of the ground.

Tomorrow's game will be preceded by the club's end-of-season awards.

FORMCAST: Harriers to sign off with a 2-2 draw.
