A LONG, hard debut season has not dampened Dave Titterton's enthusiasm for the job of managing Stourport Swifts.

The Walshes Meadow boss, who took over in October, takes his team to Shepshed Dynamo tomorrow (3pm) to round off their Dr Martens Western Division campaign still relishing the challenge.

"I don't want the season to end, I'm just getting my teeth into it," he said.

Titterton has already turned his attentions to next season and is targeting three Premier Division players to boost his squad.

"We need a creative midfielder, a bit of balance on the left-hand side and another striker plus a goalkeeper," he said.

Jan Mulders and Sean Wright are set to feature against Shepshed with Duncan Willetts, Tim Nicholls, John Cotterill and Anthony Fletcher still injured.

"I still want to win but I'll be making one or two changes to give some of the lads a chance," added Titterton ahead of of the clash with Shepshed, who are one place above Swifts in 16th.

"It will be nice to finish above Shepshed at the top of the bottom group but won't be easy.

"They've had some decent results of late but they are not unbeatable though like us last week will want to finish their last home game on a high."
