THERE was a good turnout for the Ledbury Motorcycle Club's spring grass track racing meeting on Sunday.
Weather was good for the event, held at Five Bridges, Bishops Frome, and previous rain had made the track virtually dust free and ideal for good racing.
The highlight of the event was the 500cc class which saw an outstanding afternoon's performance by David Howe, who won all his heats and the final.
Expected sidecar duo Tony Starke and Darren Wood did not ride due to Starke's broken ankle picked up at Worcester the previous week.
